Lady Debra Jenkins Speed

 

First Lady Debra Jenkins Speed is married to the Rev. James E. Speed. Sr, Pastor of Allen Temple AME Church in Greenville, SC.  The proud parents of 2 children and 2 grandchildren.  A member of the Piedmont Conference in the 7th Episcopal District.

 

In the past 22 years, she has held offices in the Piedmont Conference M-SWAWO + PK's (President and 1st Vice President) and the Women's Missionary Society (Budget and Financial Estimates on local and conference level).

 

Educated in the public schools of Clinton, SC, she also attended the University of Maryland, American Institiute of Banking, and Limestone College. Debra has 35 years in retail banking and presently works as an administrative assistant at BB&T Investment Services in Greenville SC.  

 

Debra enjoys meeting people, reading, dancing, shopping, and learning about African /Black History.

 

What's most important to Debra (other than God) is being with my Family.
