Rev. Amber Harris-Reed

 

Rev. Amber Harris-Reed was born in North Carolina and has been a Christian for over 44 years. She has traveled extensively throughout the US and abroad preaching the Gospel. 

​

Rev. Amber has two wonderful adult sons. After the death of her late husband the Lord blessed Rev. Amber again with a God sent Rev. Maurice L Reed, a member of Wayman AME Church in Kokomo IN. The two have been walking and working together in God's perfect harmony ever since. Rev. Amber is the founder and President of Stepping Out Ministries since 1994. Former drama director for over 15 years and one of several Worship Leaders at her former church, Christian Life Center in Vandalia OH. She's a published freelance writer/blogger, singer, songwriter, motivational speaker, life coach and character perform of Sojourner Truth, Harriet Tubman, Rosa Parks, Coretta Scott King and Tina Turner, and the founder of a powerful Bible Study called Women with a Purpose (WWAP).

She is the creator and director of an anti-bullying program and "I Have a Right to Be the Best Me" Girls Empowerment Program that deals with self-esteem, self-worth, self-image, anger and drama. Rev. Amber Harris-Reed is the president for the Fourth Episcopal District M-SWAWO+PKs. She is an Ohio Certified Prevention Specialist Agent (OCPSA). She teaches social emotional learning to service schools in the Cincinnati OH area. She's a graduate of Indiana Wesley University (IWU) with a bachelor's degree in human service, as well as a psychology and liberal arts and science degree as well.
