Lady Lakesha Adams

Lakesha Adams, an engineer at Celanese Polymer Products, LLC in Moncks Corner, SC, embodies faith, family and service. Born in Charleston, she's deeply rooted in her faith, instilled by her loving parents, Nathaniel and Rosena Gladden. She's the widow of Rev Andrew R Adams, II, and a devoted mother to Tre (Andrew III), Micah and Eli. Active at Calvary AME Church, Lakesha serves the AME Church in the Women's Missionary Society and is the 7th Episcopal District President of the MSWAWO+PKs.

In her community, Lakesha is a lifetime member of the National Society of Black Engineers and currently engaged with the Charleston Chapter of NSBE; the Goose Neck Chapter of the NAACP; and shares skincare knowledge as a Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant. Lakesha's life is a journey of faith, family and community service, hopefully inspiring those who know her.

Her favorite scripture scriptures are Proverbs 3:5, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and hew will make your paths straight" and Philippians 4:13, "I Can do all this through him who gives me strength."
