Lady Gwen Brown

 

Mrs. Gwendolyn Cooper Brown was born the third child of thirteen children to the late Willie and Rebecca Cooper.  She was reared in Hemingway, SC, and was educated in the public schools of Williamsburg County. 

She is married to Reverend Ronnie Brown, currently serving as pastor of Pine Grove African Methodist Episcopal Church in the Manning District of the Central South Carolina Conference.

Gwendolyn is a graduate of Allen University and Limestone University, earning degrees in Religion and Social Work, respectively.  She is employed with Waccamaw Regional Council of Governments as a Career Coach in the WIA (Workforce Investment Act) Program.

She has faithfully supported the Ministers' Spouses Organization, and served as an officer of on the local, conference and connectional levels, currently serving as the Connectional Chairperson for evaluations.

Reverend and Mrs. Brown are the parents of two children; Rondrick O'Shay and Camelia Rebecca, and the proud grandparents of Savion Jerard and Cailyn Mackenzie.
